Raychel Weiner began her training in Southern California under the direction of Diane Lauridsen and Charles Maple. She spent summers training under full scholarship with Houston Ballet, Kansas City Ballet, Alonzo King Lines Ballet, American Ballet Theater and was one of 12 dancers selected to train with Stiefel and Stars in Martha’s Vineyard. Raychel has performed with ABT Studio Company, St. Louis Ballet, Oregon Ballet Theater, Ballet Arizona and Aspen Sante Fe Ballet, dancing roles including- principal couple in Val Caniporoli’s Lamberana, principal couple in Trey McIntire’s Speak, No One Does it Like You with partner and choreographer Robert Dekkers, principal couple in Alejandro Cerrudo’s Second, and Who Cares pas de duex with Partner Ethan Stiefel in George Balanchine’s Who Cares. This is Raychel’s third season with Post:Ballet, where she has performed in Dekkers’ When in Doubt, Mine is Yours, Happy Ending, Do Be: Tassel, Yours is Mine, and field the present shifts, for which she was recently nominated for an Isadora Duncan Award for Outstanding Achievement in Performance- Ensemble.
