Crystaldawn Bell

she/ they

Crystaldawn earned her BFA from California Institute of the Arts. Since relocating to the Bay Area, she has worked with Labayen Dance/SF, Anne Bluethenthal and Dancers, Stranger Lover Dreamer, Paufve Dance, Nina Haft & Co, Todd Eckert, Garrett + Moulton Productions, and ODC. She received an Isadora Duncan Award (Izzie) for Outstanding Achievement in Performance-Ensemble for her performance in Eckert’s duet “First Stab at Closure” and has been nominated on two other occasions for Outstanding Performance-Individual. Crystaldawn was recognized as a Refinery 29: 30 under 30 and was the recipient of the Aninstantia Grant. Aside from Post: Ballet, she is currently working with Robert Moses' Kin where she serves as both company member and rehearsal director. Crystaldawn loves teaching and is on faculty at Saint Mary’s College of California and Shawl-Anderson Dance Center.

Isaac Bates-Vinueza

Isaac lives in Berkeley, California, where he works as a freelance artist and studies English at the University of California, Berkeley. Originally from Louisville, Colorado, he received his initial training from Boulder Ballet School, and later graduated from Pacific Northwest Ballet School. He also attended summer courses at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and Arts Umbrella Dance. Isaac has danced professionally with Sacramento Ballet, Amy Seiwert’s Imagery, LED Boise, and SFDanceworks. Throughout his career, he has originated and performed leading roles in works by George Balanchine, Penny Saunders, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Amy Seiwert, Natasha Adorlee, Laura O’Malley, and Bryan Arias, among others. He made his professional choreographic debut in 2022 at Sacramento Ballet, and that same year, was awarded the Ann and Weston Hicks Choreography Fellowship at Jacob’s Pillow. This is his first season with Post:ballet.

 

Charmaine Butcher

she/ they

Charmaine is a dance artist based out of San Francisco. They received training from Alonzo King LINES Ballet's Training Program in San Francisco. Charmaine has worked with Coriolis Dance, Post:ballet, the Seattle Opera, Sharp & Fine, and Verlaine & McCann’s Burlesque Nutcracker. In addition to dancing and teaching movement, Charmaine is a visual artist working in the mediums of floral, paint, and clay.

 

Landes Dixon

he/they

Landes Dixon is from Jacksonville, FL. Dixon and graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.F.A in Dance Performance. Pre-professionally, Dixon attended The Martha Graham Summer and Winter Intensives, Bates Dance Festival, Atlanta Ballet Summer Intensive and is a graduate of Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. Post university, Dixon performed and collaborated domestically and internationally with various repertory companies such as The Bruce Wood Dance Project, Steps Repertory Ensemble, Heidi Latsky Dance, Trainor Dance, BalletNext, Oakland Ballet, Dance Theater of San Francisco, SFDanceWorks and Post:Ballet. Dixon is currently on faculty at Steps on Broadway and a performer with Post:Ballet and Trainor Dance. This is Dixon's 5th season with Post:Ballet.

Colin Frederick

they/them

Colin, born and raised in Warrensburg, Missouri began their dance training at Center Stage Academy of the Performing Arts. They attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where they obtained their B.F.A. in Dance Performance and Choreography. While attending university, they had the privilege to perform in many faculty, undergraduate, and professional companies work - including Wylliams/Henry Contemporary Dance Company and MTH Theatre. After graduation, Colin moved to San Francisco, California where they have freelanced with several choreographers and companies including Marika Brussels, Garrett + Moulton Productions, work by Ihsan Rustem and most notably Post:ballet, under the direction of Robin Dekkers. Along with being a company dancer with Post:ballet, Colin is the Assistant to the Directors for Post:ballet and Berkeley Ballet Theater. While freelancing, Colin also produced, choreographed, and performed in a mixed bill performance called neverover : an evening celebrating queer joy and chaos. During this time Colin also became a 200-hour certified yoga instructor through the Yoga Alliance. Colin will be dancing with Post:ballet for a third season in 23/24.

 

Emily Hansel

she/they

Emily Hansel is a San Francisco-based dancer, choreographer, dance teacher, arts administrator, and artist advocate. Originally from Rochester, MN, Emily received their BFA in Dance from the University of South Florida. They currently dance for Post:ballet, SFDanceworks, Christy Funsch, and Mark Foehringer Dance Project. Emily has also performed Cunningham repertory in Signals from the West: Bay Area Artists In Conversation with Merce Cunningham at 100 and danced with Robert Moses’ KIN, Garrett-Moulton Productions, David Herrera Performance Company, Jennifer Perfilio, FACT/SF, and ZiRu Dance, among others. Emily is a self-producing choreographer whose work centers the dancer’s experience. Recently, Emily received an SF Artist award from the SF Arts Commission, presented work in the FACT/SF Summer Dance Festival, created new work for Post:ballet, self-produced her evening-length Four by Four at ODC Theater, and was named an Individual Artist Fellow by the California Arts Council. Emily advocates for equitable working conditions for dancers, and is a proud member of the Leadership Committee at Dance Artists’ National Collective.

 
 

Caitlin Hicks

she/they

Caitlin Hicks grew up in San Diego where she received her formative dance training at Performing Arts Workshop before completing her B.F.A. in Dance Performance at UC Irvine. She has been living and performing in the Bay Area since 2015, appearing with dance companies including Post:ballet, Sharp & Fine, REYES Dance, Garrett + Moulton Productions, Bellwether Dance Project, and The MoveMessenger(s). Caitlin also appears in work by media artist John Sanborn and as a collaborator with The Residents.

BABATUNJI

he/him

Babatunji began as a self-taught street performer, developing a unique approach to various styles of hip hop such as breakdance, popping, and krump. He has danced professionally with, Post:ballet, SFDanceworks, SFJazz, Ballare Carmel, ZiRu Dance, Maurya Kerr’s tinypistol, and Dawson|Wallace Dance Project among others. Babatunji's choreography has been performed by Berkeley Ballet Theater, Boston Dance Theater, Trolley Dance, SFDanceworks, ZiRu Dance, as well as Joseph Walsh and Sarah Van Patten of San Francisco Ballet for København Danser. He is a Princess Grace Award and Chris Hellman Award recipient. He is currently a member of Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet.

 

Madison Lindgren

she/her

Madison Lindgren began her dance training in Lubbock, Texas and continued her education at the University of Utah and the Alonzo King LINES Ballet BFA Program at Dominican University. She recently graduated from the LINES Training Program, where she performed works by Gregory Dawson, Carmen Rozestraten, Moscelyne ParkeHarrison, Mike Tyus, Chuck Wilt, David Harvey, and Laura O’Malley. Madison has also had the opportunity to dance in the Jacob’s Pillow Contemporary Performance Ensemble, where she performed works by Sidra Bell, Rena Butler, and Studio Wayne McGregor.  Now, she dances with Post:ballet and dawsondancesf

 

Moscelyne ParkeHarrison

she/her

Moscelyne ParkeHarrison is an artist from the Berkshires, MA. She graduated from The Juilliard School (’19 with the Joseph W. Polisi Award for Artist as Citizen), Hubbard Street Pro (’20), and Walnut Hill School for the Arts (’15). She is the Associate Artistic Director, Resident Choreographer and a company dancer at Post:ballet. She is the co-director of NEFA and MassCulturalCouncil award winning dance collective BODYSONNET. Artistic Director and Co-Founder of BODYSONNET, and a bicoastal freelance choreographer and teacher. Moscelyne has worked professionally with Deborah Slater Dance Theater, Liss Fain Dance, Sharp & Fine, Helen Simoneau Danse, Francesca Harper Project, and Liz Gerring Dance. 

She has originated roles in works by Deborah Slater, Liss Fain, Ihsan Rustem, Mia J Chong, Vanessa Thiessen, Emily Hansel, Chuck Wilt, Francesca Harper, Helen Simoneau, Katarzyna Skarpetowska, Roy Assaf, Hannes Langolf, Ryan Mason Mikaela Kelly,, Iztok Kovac and Stefanie Batten Bland, and performed the repertoire of José Limón, Nacho Duato, Martha Graham, Bill T Jones, Crystal Pite, and solos by Robin Dekkers and Johannes Wieland.  

Moscelyne joined Post:ballet in 2019.

Chase Buntrock

Chase Buntrock (he/him) was born in Denver and raised in Chicago. After attending Chicago Academy for the Arts, he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Juilliard School. Following graduation, Chase was a dancer with Ballet BC under the direction of Emily Molnar. He has performed works on international stages by Crystal Pite, Sharon Eyal, Merce Cunningham, Roy Assaf, and more. This spring, Chase will be a solo dancer in the Lyric Opera of Chicago’s Carmen. Apart from dance, Chase is a stylist and movement director spanning multiple mediums. Most recently, he assisted movement direction for the critically-praised Wiederhoeft show at NYFW. Chase is excited to be debuting a work commissioned by Montréal based circus performer Madi Ward for her digital art gallery Amphibious Duality. Chase was lucky to collaborate with Barbadian-Canadian multifaceted artist Alex Gibson, together creating an atmospheric exploration of sensory pleasure. Chase is thrilled to be collaborating with Moscelyne ParkeHarrison alongside Post:ballet for her much anticipated upcoming evening length work.

Alexia Duff

Alexia Duff is originally from Houston Texas. She got her formative training at The Academy of City Ballet of Houston. She spent a year dancing with The Washington Ballet in their professional training program. In 2019 she decided to explore the contemporary side of ballet, so she joined the Alonzo King LINES ballet’s training program. She has been a freelance artist in the Bay Area since graduating in 2021.

Zaria Jackson

Zaria Jackson (they/them), native of Hoover, Alabama first found dance at Alabama Dance Academy at the age of three. Once graduating from high school, they attended the Alonzo King Lines Ballet Training Program under the direction of Karah Aboig. Through their 2 years attending, they were able to perform works by Sidra Bell, Greg Dolbasian, Robert Moses and Christian Burns. After graduating in 2020 they joined Fermata Ballet Collective while also maintaining a contract with SALT2 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Molly Levy

Molly Levy (she/her) is a performing artist drawn to the heart and humanity of dance making. Her training has included classical and contemporary ballet, Horton, Limon, Graham, Piso Movil floorwork, Jack Cole based jazz, and improvisation. She has performed with independent artists and companies throughout the Pacific Northwest, East Coast, and Bay Area. Her collaborations include Cantankerous Creatures, Seattle Opera, Katie Scherman + Artists, Post:ballet, Sharp & Fine, and Paufve Dance. Her work has also brought her into live theater, movement direction, burlesque, visual art, and teaching dance to many generations from creative movement for toddlers to classes for seniors with Parkinson’s.
