"Since our first shows in 2010, Post:ballet has continued to nurture creativity, cultivate plasticity, and ask the question of “what’s next” with ballet in the 21st century. Post:ballet’s collaborators are passionate about taking risks, pursuing curiosity, and creating new works that connect us with one another and with ourselves.

As the official company of Berkeley Ballet Theater, Post:ballet is inspired to continue using classically-based technique as a means, not an end, to artistic expression as we pass down this art form to the next generation. By creating a space where artists working in diverse mediums can intersect with dance in new and unexpected ways, Post:ballet uses collaboration to develop trust, empathy, and vulnerability in artists and their communities.
